Hi There! I've been at CASA for 4 years as an Advocate Supervisor working with Advocates and Mentors of Older Youth. I have been privileged to work with people passionate about helping older teens and young adults navigate into a challenging new world of independence.
CASA is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supervises volunteer Advocates for children and youth in the Dependency system. These children, through no fault of their own, have been in foster homes, group homes, and lived with extended family and non-family members. Their families have faced huge challenges and some have overcome their circumstances and others have not. These children have weathered these storms with the help of many professionals, and they've also had the special relationship with a volunteer Advocate who has seen them weekly and become their voice in Court and their Advocate in the community.
Please help me continue to support these children by supporting my fundraising efforts in the upcoming Wharf to Wharf event in Santa Cruz CA. A donation of any size is always appreciated!
